Our guest this week is CBI's own Dr. Kaleigh Bantum! Dr. Bantum has presented at a number of national conferences, taught at local universities, and serves as the Co-Director of CBI's Center for Education. Her experience makes her particularly well suited to discuss suicidality in children, adolescents and young adults, as well as the evidence-based practices required to meet individual needs and build strong positive relationships with her clients. In this episode, we discuss some of the hurdles clinicians face when helping clients with suicidal ideations or actions, as well as how the Covid-19 pandemic has affected youth in our country.
