Too much time in the hot sun can lead to heat exhaustion and heat stroke. Avoid being outside, if you can, for a lenghty period of time when the sun is at its peak, 10 Am to 2 Pm. Drink plenty of water and watch out for the signs of sun related distress. Be sure to wear sunscreen, 30 SPF or higher. We also discussed safe grilling and water safety, specifically related to your backyard swimming pools.
