Steven Gomes is thought-provoking, innovative, and spontaneous. He dares to speak on controversial topics with witty ideas and perspectives. He was raised in Brooklyn, New York, and attended Lasalle Academy High School in New York, New York. It is there where his introduction for writing began. His high school math teacher entered him into a poetry-writing contest. He didn’t win, but he placed pretty well. His English teacher introduced him to Shakespeare and Cyrano de Bergerac. He then introduced himself to his high school sweetheart, who fueled his passion for love, and the rest is history.
