REV. 2:18-29; JUDGEMENT BEGINS AT THE HOUSE OF GOD

The letter to the church at Thyatira reveals Christ as the judge of His people and specially of churches that allow cultic behavior to develop within them. We see how the Lord dealt differently with the same false teaching in two different churches, using the power of the preached Word to supppress unbiblical sects in one, and physical punishment to remove a cult in the other. There are important lessons here for Christians and churches today.
