Isaiah 57 6.13.20

The prophet brings forth a prophetic word of clarity, speaking ahead into troublesome times (ancient Israel, forward into what is now history from our perspective, and yet further forward into the troubles now as well as upcoming) that could mean even death for godly people - assuring all hearers that their/our destiny call extends way beyond the temporal, the now, the grave. Our salvation experience is our gate into the eternal. And meanwhile the increasing noise of trouble is around us, challenging and testing us as we, by grace, remain focused and faithful.
