Setting the Record Straight - Catholics Sink The Muslims Navy at Lepanto

Some say it was the greatest naval battle in history. The battle of Lepanto unified the Catholic Countries of Europe in an effort to strike a severe blow to the great Muslim navy.  It took place on  October 7th, 1571. A fleet of the Holy League, a coalition of European states  led by Admiral Don John of Austria decisively defeated the fleet of the Ottoman Empire.​
