Koch, the former CEO of Graco (an American manufacturer of fluid-handling systems and products), taught him the value of giving back to his community, how to run a successful business, and how to be a leader.

At the same time, Leil spent his summers bailing hay, fencing, and herding black Angus cattle, where he learned what long, hard-working days were, the value of a good plot of land, and the importance of taking care of it, and, as the Code states, "it’s wise utilization and widely allocated ownership."
