Irshad Manji is a professor at Oxford University’s Initiative for Global Ethics and Human rights and a New York Times bestselling author of Don’t Label Me: How to Do Diversity Without Inflaming the Culture Wars. She serves as the Director of Moral Courage ED at Let Grow, a nonprofit that promotes independent thinking and emotional resilience in students. Its signature program for secondary school students (and their teachers!) is Moral Courage ED, which empowers students to hear, not fear, different perspectives. She is the recipient of Oprah’s first “Chutzpah Award” for boldness.
