The Case For A Creator

Message by: Peter Godwin In his book “Origin”, author Dan Brown has one of his characters ask the questions – “where do we come from” and “where are we going to”?  They’re two of the most basic questions that we human beings ask.  
 
Christian faith answers those questions through our understanding that God is involved with the cosmos and with human beings.  We talk about Jesus entering human history (his incarnation), his miracles, his death and the historical evidence that he rose from the dead. That’s what the Bible is all about.  Increasingly, the evidence of science also makes a strong case for a “creator” whose nature and capacities are like those described in the Bible.
 
This Sunday, we’ll celebrate Father’s Day.  What a great gift dad’s can give their kids.  To help them answer the “origin” questions – where they come from and where they’re going.
