It's Wednesday and Father Koys is here on the Winds of Change and is
excited today. He begins with talking about his own book, since the
intro to the show mentions Father Anthony's but that is not the main
topic, but today is going to be a challenge Father Koys says, but this
brings up "Trusted Catholic Voices" here, bringing the idea/topic of
trust in mind due to not only our instincts and experiences, but faith
here too. With this in mind, the historical date with this is around
the 1940's, during World War 2, with some days regarding many tragic
dates during WW II, (guess before you read and when listen) with the
Bismarck in mind, the famous German Battleship during WW II. Father
Koys retells the story of that day that the Bismarck sank, and this
relates to the idea of immigration Father Koys points out, in 2016. He
also shares some of the things with immigration during not only the
present time, but also what it was like during WW II with many evil
things going on, such as the Nazi's for one. This also brings to mind
the idea of all of us, regardless of our ethnic background, religious
beliefs, and other things, being able to co-exist with each other.
Father Koys continues on this further by examining comments and the
popularity surrounding Donald Trump's population, with three things all
the same: immigration, as well as Holy Week coming up. Father Koys also
raises the idea of having someone fight for those who need fighting for
in terms of the voting going on, as well as related to Jesus Christ in a
few ways, to show the differences in what some may get confused by
having someone fight for you, and for those who need it.
