#58: Alice Kombani and Tracey Shiundu on the Making of formidable Women - An Ode to Motherhood

In this special episode the BBB duo sit with Filmmaker and third time podcast guest Alice Kombani and with Scientist, Entrepreneur and great supporter of the podcast Tracey Shiundu for a great conversation in ode to motherhood. The episode picks the convo from their early interactions with ideas of motherhood and marriage, to dating, doubts, rites, weddings and how men with funny shoes and Gully creeper tendencies turned into impressive husbands and fathers. The guests share gems they’ve picked on their journeys so far; from friendship to marriage, through love and lessons, to timing, teething, tantrums and raising teenagers and little fires all while pursuing their professional paths. Alice Kombani (IG) is an award Kenyan filmmaker, writer, poet, farmer and prolific creative entrepreneur currently working to ground African Cinema working on her latest feature film ‘Babe’.

 

Tracey Shiundu (Website, X, LinkedIn, IG) - a Top40under40Ke 2023 honoree, is a Scientist with a masters in Environmental Chemistry who also holds another in project Management, She is a co-founder of FunKe Science whose goal is to inspire the next generation of African scientists by making science fun for children
