Kate is a New York Times best-selling author, podcast host, and associate professor of the history of Christianity in North America at Duke University. And she’s one of my very favorite humans. 

She shares her story of being diagnosed with Stage IV cancer at a young age, what she learned during her cancer journey, how she really feels about the phrase “living your best life now,” and what we can do when unexpected changes in life turn our carefully laid plans upside down.
