Father Koys also shares some history at the start of the show, as he is a fan of history. One major figure here discussed is a favorite historical figure for Father Koys, Abraham Lincoln one of America's and Father Koys favorite historical heroes here, sharing several quotes from the famous President. Also, he goes into deeper historical discussion on several priests and the relationship they had with others, in particular the Pottawatomie Indians and how they were in the Church back in the 1800's. But Abraham Lincoln is one of the major focuses here, not only his influence on others, but also his personal history which in turn is tied to the Church in terms of his family and beliefs. Father Koys continues to discuss the "kinks" in Abraham Lincoln's armor so to speak with the discussion on the Church.
