Growing up at United, playing through pain, and the transition to a 9-5.
Daniel Nardiello moved to Manchester United as a trainee in 1999, in the wake of the treble. Dan spent the next few years training and learning alongside Beckham, Scholes, Giggs, Neville, Keane, before making his professional debut in November 2001 away to Arsenal.
Dan would go on to play for Barnsley, Rotherham United, QPR, Bury, and a host of other clubs, eventually making over 300 professional appearances and scoring over 100 goals.
It wasn't a career without its difficulties though, a litany of injuries including a broken back, caused frustration for Dan throughout his career.
Nowadays, Dan works as a financial advisor, in part, inspired to do so following a scam he fell foul of during his career. His transition to working and living the civilian life has been hard to adjust to, but he finds real value in the work he now does.
