Thankfully, on this outing I was not sick, though that is nearly the best thing that one can say about this program. A common problem rears its head here with uncommon frequency--a segue that sounded good at home sounds terrible, suddenly, in the moment and on air. So there's plenty of that to look forward to. Elsewhere, I ruin many a decent segue by doing a "one-song backannouncement over the crossfade. But to me that is clearly better than what is on display here. My voice is not a palette-cleanser, I guess! It would also help if I avoided stupid mistakes like forgetting that the "Mr." in "Mr. Marouf" was "monsieur" and not "mister." That one particularly bugged me.

There happens to be a sublime passage in the second hour of the program, I would say, from Bromide through Oiseaux-Tempete. And the last two tracks therein prevent it from being a solid rock block! That's not nothing.
