In Episode #10 of This Ocean Life podcast we speak with Ulu Boi, a humble and gracious professional surfer from Hawaii. Ulu shares his stories growing up on the Big Island and finding his passion for waves, community, and helping others. We hear about his ongoing work with the Mauli Ola Fondation and helping children with cystic fibrosis find relief and joy in the ocean as well as Ulu's incredible story of physically and mentally overcoming a massive injury from a shark incident in his teens to living his dream chasing the WQS of professional surfing today. Ulu's perspective on life is inspirational and helps us all take a look at our own sense of sharing love of the ocean with others.
Thanks for sharing Ulu's ocean life with us. Be sure to check out his Instagram to share in the great work he does with the Mauli Ola Foundation. You can also find pictures and video of Ulu on the ThisOceanLife.TV Instagram and Facebook pages. We are also on Twitter ranting about anything cool happening in the ocean.
