More Kids Should Get Weight Loss Surgery #IYP

More kids should get weight loss surgery even some preteens is the headline from an AP article. And I love what my man Gerald Celente replied to this article via twitter saying ‘we sure have come a long sick way from an apple a day keeps the doctor away’.

 

I could not agree more. It seems that as an absolute last resort ok maybe I can agree there is an option for this. However when most children on this planet are either going hungry or living an active lifestyle and have a healthy weight, then what is it about North America that suggests our children need to have surgery to correct something of this nature?

 

When those who we look up to for our own health are telling us to take such an extreme action, over food, diet, and activity it seems just a little harsh or off centre to me. I can only image the issues that could possibly arise from surgery at such a young age, and as well are we ever really looking to solve the problem any more or simply just looking to put a band aid over every issue that seems to arise in our lives?

 

As always it needs to be us that goes deep inside to look for the answers because "they" whoever they are do no have them for us, maybe it will work for some. The hard work it takes to loose the weight or the hard work it takes to overcome anything in the end is always worth it, it ,makes us stronger and forges us into who and what it is we are meant to be and become!
