Message Summary: Prayer is your conduit for communion with God, in His Throne Room, to invite His help to your situations. The best way to learn how to have this communion with God is to just do it, using no magic words, although the words of Scripture are powerful and work strongly. Just pray with your heart in conversation with God. Jonah, in Jonah 2:1-2, models for us that no matter how deep the situational hole, into which we have dug for ourselves, we can call on God, the Creator of the Universe, for our help: “Then Jonah prayed to the LORD his God from the belly of the fish, saying, “I called out to the LORD, out of my distress, and he answered me; out of the belly of Sheol I cried, and you heard my voice.".
Today’s Affirmation: Today, I affirm that because I am in Jesus Christ, I will not be anxious. (Philippians 4:6f). “I can do everything through Him who gives me strength.” (Philippians 4:14).
