Trellis Our Restaurant of the Week!

While it might be a cold winter you can warm up at the Greater Des Moines Botanical Center with Trellis a creation from Lisa LaValle and her husband Michael. Here you can enjoy a menu that reflects Lisa's passion for fresh and local in a setting unlike anything else in the Des Moines Metro. With Lisa is Jake Miller the general manager for Port Of Des Moines the company behind Trellis, The Riverwalk Hub, Trellis Catering, J.A. White Riverboat and The River Center the newest event center in the Greater Des Moines Metro. Side note of history: The site of The River Center is the warehouse where Old Tavern Brewing Company, one of the oldest breweries in the Metro, once stood. Here is our conversation...
