Annie and Jay Warmke of Blue Rock Station are joined by Chad Cully, horticulturist at the Cincinnati Zoo's botanical gardens, in a discussion of how society must change our definitions of what is private land, what is public land, and who makes decisions on how each is governed. We are getting a bit more crowded, so a conversation must take place between farmers, city dwellers, industry, recreation - basically let's all act like adults and understand that what we do on our "private property" affects the larger world as a whole. But that the owner's needs must also be considered when regulating land use. Hopefully we will see a new form of Agri-Forestry emerge that will assist in sustainable development well into this century.
