27-Year Navy SEAL Master Chief (SOCM) Stephen Drum (retired) joins this episode and speaks with the guys about the difference between the “best” and the “greatest.” He reflects on his upbringing in the special warfare community from young Sailor, to a leader in his community. He breaks down the training process for Navy Seal candidates. Damo asks Stephen what he would do in a “Liam Neeson Movie” style scenario. If you’re in the Navy, we are sure that you heard of the “Warrior Toughness” program. This program was aimed to help Sailors with the ability to persevere and perform under danger and high stress scenarios. You’ve probably heard that this program was developed by a chaplain, psychologist, and a SEAL. Well Stephen is the SEAL that was a part of that Warrior Toughness development group. The trio discusses the importance of family and shows some love to military spouses.
