Celebrating Hanukkah  Part 2:  The Menorah of the Maccabees  -  English and Spanish.  When King Antiochus captured Jerusalem, he defiled and looted the holy temple. The Maccabees liberated the city and rededicated the House of God. But they faced a dilemma. What do you do if the menorah is missing from the temple?   This is a rebroadcast of a sermon originally recorded on December 24, 2022. This year, 2024, The Feast of Hanukkah begins at sunset on Wednesday, December 25th, and ends at sunset on Thursday, January 2nd, 2025.
