US Mid-Session 24 Feb 17: US mixed DOW higher helped by oil, retails and miners hit.

US sharemarkets pared early losses on Thursday, after President Trump told CEO's of major US corporates that he plans a number of proposals to bring back jobs to the US. Investors however continued to wait on more detail with indices trading in a tight range. With just over an hour of trade the Dow Jones index was up by 48 points or 0.2%. The S&P 500 index up by 0.1% while the Nasdaq was also lower by 27 points or 0.5%.
