The Irish Government will continue to insist decisions on tax remain with EU member states. That’s the view of Fine Gael MEP Mairead McGuinness, after the President of the European Commission suggested qualified voting should be introduced on some tax issues.
Jean-Claude Juncker make the remarks in the State of the Union address in the European Parliament in Strasbourg.
