Episode 340: Jeremiah 14 and 15

Today's Prayer Meditation is on Jeremiah 14 and 15

My sins testified against me, Father. But for the sake of your name, you sent a Savior. My sins were many, but your love was greater. You are here with me. You know me by name. And you will not forsake me. 

You have removed my guilt and shame, and remember my sins no more. They are as far from you as the east is from the west. 

You have accepted me as your own. In you, I have lasting peace.

You healed me from my affliction. You gave me peace. You remember your covenant and do not break it. You send showers down from the skies. My hope is in you, Father. You are the one who does all this. 

You make me strong in these trying times to accomplish your good. You make it so my enemies ask me to pray for them in times of disaster and suffering.

When I discovered your words, I devoured them. I couldn't get enough. Your word is my joy and my heart’s delight, for I bear your name. You are the God of Angel Armies. Your hand is heavy upon me. You fill me with indignation over sin. 

I returned to you, and you restored me so I could continue to serve you. I stand before you, Father. 

I speak good words rather than worthless ones, and you have made me a spokesperson for you. I influence others, and do not let them influence me. You make me secure as a fortified wall of bronze. I will not be conquered, for you are with me to protect and rescue me. You rescue me from the hands of the wicked and redeem me from the grasp of the violent. You keep me safe.

So be it.
