Mid-Session 16 Jan 20: Record highs for the ASX 200 as it tops 7,000

The ASX 200 has breached the 7,000 point mark for the first time ever as the Aussie market continues its record run. This follows a record close for the Dow on Wall St as the US & China sign a phase 1 trade deal. Locally, gains have been across most sectors with tech & staples leading the way.
