Cuffe fears cash diverted away from renewables

Labelling gas and nuclear as ‘green’ or ‘transition’ fuels will divert investment away from renewables -that’s the fear of one of our Green MEPs.

 

The European Parliament will today vote on EU plans to add gas and nuclear to a list of “environmentally sustainable economic activities”.

 

Ciarán Cuffe says that would be a mistake, especially right now when we are trying to shift away from fossil fuels.
