Episode # 949 - The Directions We Go Toward Or God Leads Us To

Father Anthony is back, as well as Tony too, returning from his vacation in California and Christina is here on the show today as well and so far, as the show starts, everyone is doing good and ok on this Thursday.  Tony at the beginning of the show talks about his trip to California and how much went on there, visiting his family.  However the discussion turns from joyful, to tragic with discussing the latest news about what has been happening in Ukraine, such as disturbing images of families and children out there dealing with these tough times.  With this in mind, raises the questions/feelings we have during these times for all of us, dealing with stressful and fearful things going on, not only overseas, but with our nation as well.  On a different topic, Father Anthony brings up what Father Koys said yesterday about him going to Washington D.C. soon and some interesting things regarding this, relating to things going on today, leading to the idea of God being around us, as well as we sometimes turn away from Him, allowing us to head in different kinds of directions, with also people having different beliefs.  The discussion continues bringing up several points about God and how we need Him and we need assurance that He's watching us.  Father Anthony mentions something that leads to a future topic of discussion revolving around the fall of the Roman Empire and the Church as well.
