A special one this week. Our first ever crossover episode with two other excellent podcasts/videocasts.
This week, Andy is joined by Kit O'Toole (Author, Lecturer, Podcaster,) and co-host of Talk More Talk: A Solo Beatles Videocast and Ed Chen (Co-Host) of When They Was Fab podcast. The three amigos were all at the Chicago Fest and decided to record one together. We recorded this on Saturday 8/13/22.
Our panel was chosen for the Fest to represent Beatles-related podcasters. (Yes, I wish it could've been all about Paul but concessions had to be made!) We discussed the evolution of Beatles documentaries bookended by Let It Be (1970) and Get Back (2021) and various documentaries (official and otherwise) that fall between this time period. Specifically, the conversation centers around what documentary each co-host found as they started or began their musical discovery of The Beatles.
Missing the other leg Tom on this one but in 2023 the 2Legs will be at both fests to record and go live (hopefully).
Thank you Kit and Ed,
