MEP welcomes ECB chief’s openness to visit Oireachtas – Hayes

The ECB chief Mario Draghi says he would be glad to accept an invitation from the Irish Parliament to discuss monetary policies if he were to receive one. Mr Draghi made the comments following remarks that were put to him by the Fine Gael MEP Brian Hayes during a debate in the European Parliament last night. The Dublin MEP urged Mr Draghi to come before the Oireachtas Finance Committee to discuss the ECB’s activities in revitalising the euro and the economies of the Eurozone countries.
