Chatting with Managing Director of Equestrian R Infinity Craig Benton

On this week's pod - Craig Benton

 

Craig is Managing Director at Equestrian R Infinity, a racing yard and retraining / schooling centre for retired racehorses, based in Epsom, Surrey. Craig has a vast experience of horses, having first sat on one of his father's racehorses at aged 2.  In his pre-teen years, he competed in show jumping. He rode his first amateur winner at 14 and over hurdles in South Africa. In his two years of National Service in the army, he represented the South African Defence Force in show jumping and eventing winning the SADF show jumping championship in 1978. He has worked in racing in South Africa, USA, Macau, UK, Hong Kong and China.

 

Craig chats about his love of horses, especially thoroughbreds and keen attention to their welfare and care during and after racing.
