3-23-25 - Recognizing God’s Nutrients

The readings for this week for the Third Sunday in Lent are: Isaiah 55:1-9, Psalm 63:1-8, 1 Corinthians 10:1-13, and Luke 13:1-9.  This week we look at how much energy it takes for plants to produce fruit.  In doing this, it means that they are taking a risk and have to trust that continued resources will come to help make the plant grow.  There is not only a hope but a reliance on God that God will continue to provide for them.  It is completely out of their control and they have to trust God on it.  Are we willing to do the same?  Do we spend the time to thank God or be willing to step out like a plant?  In this Lenten season, it is a good time to reflect on that.  Thanks again for taking the time out to listen to this and I hope this is a tool that you find useful.
