NewsWare’s Trade Talk: Thursday, October 10

S&P Futures are flat to lower and as expected are staying in a tight trading range this morning. Two key economic reports are due out before the bell (CPI & Jobless Claims) either report could create volatility for the markets this morning. DAL & DPZ are moving lower after announcing earnings this morning. COST released Sept sales data which showed an increase of 6.7%. Two big events today, AMD's Advancing AI conference and TSLA RoboTaxi announcement. Toronto-Dominion Bank is expecting to pay about 3B to settle money laundering issues. In Europe, markets are mixed to lower with Middle East tensions and next week's ECB announcement in focus. Oil prices are showing gains of more than 1% in the pre-market.
