Father Koys is flying solo today again, due to Tony who usually is with him being away. With so much to talk about, especially since there are many rough, bad things in the news and bad news around us, especially with the recent ISIS terrorist attacks in England and recently a high school student in Naperville who committed suicide. Father Anthony tries to make us feel good, but with all this going on, he even states that it’s difficult to try to feel good with all these bad things happening. He also points out that with all this, we or sometimes as individuals feel like “running away” from these things, not just in terms of trying to avoid them physically, but emotionally as well. With this feeling of “escape” from the world we live in, Father Koys understands the feeling we all feel at times or a lot due to this and points out how we can deal with facing this feeling, not just when we feel the need to escape, but also how to possibly do something different. He also brings to mind getting the attention of “big figures” in terms of people and the Ear of God to get His attention too in order to fix things or fix these bad problems we face and feel the need to “escape” from, a little Devine Intervention. Father Koys also brings to mind the idea of moral principles as well as the need for bars, that is prison bars for those who commit some of the bad things out there. With help on this, he reads the poem, The Wolf Rendier, as well as a very famous song by the Beatles, Chains. This also raises some on the philosophies of great Philosophers, such as Socrates, Plato, and Aristotle, not only with the song, but tied to the area of moral principles, as well as the need for chains in terms of some of the things Father Koys mentioned today. His final thoughts surround recent things going on with President Trump and Russia.
