Even as the disciples worshipped Jesus, they doubted. Fear feeds doubt, making us unsure whether we are up to the task, but perfect love casts out all fear and that is what we have available to us in the grace bestowed through each of the sacraments. The Ascension isn't about the departure of Jesus; rather it is about God's availability to us in an even more profound way!
