Morning Report 17 Sep 21: US stocks stumble and recover to post mixed results

US and European stocks saw mixed fortunes overnight - Wall St recovered from early losses to end with trimmed losses. Elsewhere, a stronger US dollar weighed on commodity prices broadly. The Dow fell 0.2%, the S&P 500 dropped 0.2% although the Nasdaq index rose 0.1%.
