Mid-Session 23 Feb 18: Mining and energy names lead ASX 200 higher on Friday

Buyers pushed the ASX 200 higher by 0.5% at lunchtime helped by gains for bank, mining and energy stocks. Woolies shares were 2% lower after the grocer reported a miss on earnings.
