Dr. Jeff Matheson obtained an HBSc (Biochem) degree from University of Western Ontario, followed by his MDCM Degree (Doctor of medicine, master of surgery) from McGill University in 1991.

Dr. Jeff Matheson was a full-time Emergency Room physician for 15 years and Medical Director of Med-Emerg Inc for five years. He is also Founder of CPM Medical Clinics (pain management) which became the largest provider of pain management in Canada 2005 to present. He has trained over 70 physicians in the practice of pain management.

In 2013, he left CPM to start up the all natural Migraine, Headache and Pain Centre to promote a non-narcotic approach to pain and headache management. They are dedicated to the controlling of pain through the promotion of good health and non-medicinal therapies, using neuroplasticity principals, as well as interventional pain control.
