Is Secularism pre and post Christian Evangelism?

Tom Holland's observation that Christianity colonizes less successful as confession and more successful as secularization continues to rumble around beneath my consciousness. What this does is radically relocate and undermine the Joe Rogan/Richard Dawkins conversation as naive revealing the fear that Timothy Snyder possesses in his warnings about the early 20th century in Eastern Europe.
