Welcome to our travel series podcast! We are using this time to chat with members of our congregation who have left the building to encounter Christ in the world. Have you ever gone on a trip that completely changed your life? While we all love vacations, even if we are privileged enough to be able to take a trip somewhere, we don’t always go with the intention of making the world a better place or making ourselves into better people. Sometimes we just want to shut down and that’s okay. The travel experiences you will hear about in the next several weeks, however, were undertaken with a different perspective. Each of these experiences began with a desire for personal growth and an understanding that comfort was not the main goal. Often these trips become the most meaningful travel experiences of our lives and we return home with new perspectives. Specifically, these trips began with a desire to learn about Jesus or to love others in his name. We will release these episodes once per week until Ash Wednesday.
