Welcome to Mare-Amours! In this podcast we’ll talk about My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, both the canon and the ever-expanding fan-works that surround it. Your hosts are Caravel and Beta, two queer trans women and ponyfans. We’ll be analyzing MLP specifically from a queer perspective, hopefully diving deeper into queer theory than you’ll find elsewhere.

Our inaugural episode touches on “Sisterhooves Social” and ApplePie. Then we move onto the main course: The trans allegories presented by Magical Mystery Cure and Changeling fanfiction.
