Episode # 1171 - Status And Future Of The Church

Due to the Memorial Day Holiday, this is a rebroadcast show from May 14th, 2015.  From all of us at Winds Of Change, Happy Memorial Day everyone and this show will officially air this Monday, Memorial Day, May 25th, 2015.

Father Anthony is back, feeling very good, not sure where the show will go at the start, but ready anyways.  Everyone seems to be doing okay and fine today, in good feelings it seems, but Father Anthony talks about how he's been busy the past few days, with meetings and others things going on at St. Stanislaus Kostka.  With what Father Anthony talks about, he seems to be painting a picture of "blue skies and green grass" and all that, to help talk about the good things.  However, Father Anthony and everyone talks about a recent train tragedy that happened, and those who are going through this, with the idea about life and reality, bringing to mind our relationship with God and how our frustration and joy plays out here.  This discussion turns toward talking about celebrities, such as Marylin Manson and Lady Gaga, and how they are as a person, as well as the "image" that they have in the culture and public, expressing several facts and thoughts from everyone on the show today, bringing to mind that their image and ego, is such related to worship and following, like following God.  Following this discussion, Father Anthony shares what Pope Francis has said on the possible future of the Church, which brings about the topic of the need or not needing the Church.
