Mid-Session 23 Oct 18: Financial, energy & healthcare stocks suffer heavy losses

The ASX 200 has extended yesterday’s 0.6% decline, losing 0.8% in early trade. The index is on track to record its worst monthly decline in more than three years amid ongoing geo-political tensions.
