A prayer for the church today

On this Sunday when we celebrate Thanksgiving, Pastor Barbara Moyer Lehman told Philippians 1:3-11, which she said is sometimes referred to as the Pauline Thanksgiving. Paul gives this prayer of thanksgiving for the church at Philippi, expressing his love and hope for the church. This thanksgiving, rooted in love for Jesus Christ, points to the future. Pastor Barbara challenged us with the question, "If you were writing a prayer of thanksgiving for the church, what would you write that would encourage and equip it?"
