Why we should all be optimists

Climate change, systemic inequality and conflicts: many of us believe things are bad and will even get worse. But according to philosopher dr. Hanno Sauer (UU) there is reason enough to be optimistic: there is moral progress in the world, and we’re likely to see more of it in the future. Should we be more optimistic?
