Our friend Tamyra Harrison has authored a book, The Diary of a Des Moines Democrat which is a reflection on her time as the Executive Director of the Polk Country Democrats.  The book is full of her experiences in this city, which is the epicenter of all things political in the state...and perhaps the nation.
