The EU should organise the joint purchasing of fertiliser to bring down the costs, says Colm Markey. Fertiliser prices have soared since Russia invaded Ukraine. The Fine Gael MEP says rising costs are also being fueled by speculation. He is calling for the EU to get a grip on the issue now and also work on more sustainable solutions for the future.
