In Tough Times, Don’t Drift Away from Your Personal Relationship with Jesus – call on Him

MESSAGE SUMMARY: Jesus will hold your hand and walk along beside you in your trials and tribulations. In your tough times, be careful that you don’t drift away from your personal relationship with Jesus. Jesus is the Lord. Jesus is Sovereign over the Universe. Jesus really cares for you. If you will remember what you have been taught about Jesus, it will help you deal with your tough life circumstances: “do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus," (Philippians 4:6-7). Remembering Jesus’ Sovereignty and character will help you in your times of trouble and stress.

 

TODAY’S AFFIRMATION: Today, I affirm that, because I am in Jesus Christ, I press on toward His goal for me. (Philippians 3:12f). “I can do everything through Him who gives me strength.”. (Philippians 4:14).
