MommaFoxFire is a single mom and full-time proposal manager who is just plain passionate about helping empower individuals to be the best version of themselves. She hosts, edits, publishes, brainstorms and runs (in all ways!!) Even Tacos Fall Apart in her “spare time.”
MommaFoxFire has had many ups and downs in life, which led her to raising awareness about mental health topics as an advocate. Her goal is to spread non-toxic positivity across the internet and world through social media and the various mental health & gaming communities she interacts with. She feels that reaching even ONE person each week makes all the work worthwhile, and the feedback she has received has shown that the connections that are made through this style of programming can be literally life-saving.
She has been living with depression (MDD) & anxiety (GAD) since 2015, is still working to overcome C-PTSD from an emotionally abusive marriage, lived through postpartum depression in 2013/2014, and dealt with a family trauma situation when her grandfather went missing in 2017 (in addition to the “normal” family trauma of just losing someone!). Throughout everything, she found ways to cope and survive, some of which led her to her passion for mental health advocacy.
Now she encourages honesty and non-judgmental support in the ETFA / FoxFam community and at home and talks openly about mental health via live conversations with mental health professionals & people with experiences/stories to share.
