Episode # 1663 – Good Friday 2017

The Triduum continues this year, with Father Anthony continuing the discussion and celebration of these days today.  He opens with asking the question on how people celebrate on these three days with Jesus sacrificing Himself for all of us and our sins, but also how His rebirth happened and redemption is also present.  Father Anthony provides many answers to why it’s important to celebrate this time for Jesus and for God, for the purpose of saving and forgiving all of us and redemption, for being our Savior and how he suffered, died, and resurrected.  This also allows for everyone to share their feelings as well and Father Anthony talking about the state that the world is in today in terms of how we need forgiveness, redemption, and saving and how we might be or have lost our turning to God and Faith in God.  He also shares with the importance of keeping our Faith in God, as well as this special time this week, reminds us to not lose hope and keep our Faith in God and Jesus alive and still with us, as well as the mysteries in life where and when God helps us and to not stray from the Path we are on and that God guides us on.  This also raises the discussion more in Father Anthony saying how we turn to God in our times of need, as well as deny Him at times of our most conflicted and frustrated and how we choose to turn to Him.
